Maria Istvanova, PhD. provides interpreting and translation services from/to Chinese as well as works as a lecturer since 2015. She is a member of the Slovak association of translators and interpreters and the European Association of Chinese Studies since 2020.

During her doctoral studies at Comenius University in Bratislava, she specialized in corpus linguistics and Chinese as a second language research and part of the research was conveyed in the collaboration with the East China Normal University (Shanghai).
